Assistant Principal

It is with great pleasure and honor that I serve as the Assistant Principal of Manteo Middle School. Manteo Middle School is built on a strong sense of tradition, pride, and community. I hope to add to the continued success of the school, its staff, and its students. The leadership team and I are committed to creating and maintaining a safe learning environment that offers students a wide array of unique learning opportunities.

During my career in education, I have served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum coordinator, digital integration specialist, and assistant principal. I hold a BA in English and Secondary teaching and two MA's in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership.

I am originally from Charleston, South Carolina but have called the Outer Banks home for the last two years. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time on the water, and walking my two dogs: Banks and Koa.
