NJHS
Manteo Middle School offers membership in our chapter of the National Junior Honor Society for eligible Eighth Grade Students. Students must fill out an application and have teacher recommendations to be nominated to the organization. The induction ceremony is held in the fall. Students participate in a number of various volunteer opportunities to benefit our school and community such as a food drive, book drive and service opportunity to read aloud to some of our local preschool students.
